Meet Ryan Lawrence
Ryan Lawrence is a long time resident of Hampton Roads, VA. Ryan started his real estate career as a loan officer in 2006 with Fulton Mortgage and continued that career after being recruited to Monarch Mortgage in 2007. Ryan focused his lending in the special products division of Monarch Mortgage.
Ryan was writing hundreds of loans for clients of a local hard money lender called Equity Development Corporation (EDC). In 2008 EDC approached Ryan to discuss a symbiotic relationship. Ryan was entrusted with EDC client’s, with the ultimate goal of funding rehabbed property’s.
Working with EDC gave Ryan great insight into the Private Lending market. After a few years of working with EDC and their client’s, Ryan was offered an opportunity to become part of the EDC family. Ryan jumped at the opportunity to work directly with the top Hard Money Lender in Hampton Roads. Before long, Ryan was doing everything from answering new client questions to facilitating the client’s exit strategy.
Ryan’s in-depth responsibilities at EDC gave him the opportunity to decide if that was something he wanted to do on his own. Ryan started lending in 2008 and hasn’t slowed down since. Helping people achieve financial success is what drive’s Ryan every day.
